Beautiful beach and #seascapes paired with breathtaking #limestone formations, labyrinthine and vibrant #markets, enchantingly #polite people and last but not least the extremely #tasty seafood and Phở soups: Welcome to fascinating Vietnam! Due to the relatively simple transport possibilities and good infrastructure, the Southeast Asian People's Republic has been one of the top #backpacker destinations for years - let us convince you why!

Our Highlights

Hanoi - The vibrant and bustling capital of the country is home to many of the country's most important #museums, temples and sights, such as the famous Perfume Pagoda, the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum or the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long. Experience an emotional roller coaster ride during the day as you stroll through the #chaotic, scooter-filled neighborhoods, then #relax and unwind at #sunset as you stroll along the beautifully soothing Hoan Kiem Lake. And don't forget to buy yourself and your loved ones some nice souvenirs at one of the many markets and taste the traditional Vietnamese cuisine, which could hardly be more authentic than in Hanoi.

Ha Long Bay - If you can find #paradise on earth, you will certainly find yourself in Ha Long Bay following in the footsteps of Adam and Eve. Covering an area of about 1,500 square kilometres, it is probably one of the greatest natural #wonders of our planet with its characteristic limestone pillars rising steeply from the emerald green waters. Be sure to book a cruise and marvel at the unmistakably green and vibrant landscapes on the more than 2,000 islands of the bay. The UNESCO World Heritage Site (since 1994) is particularly suitable for those who are looking for deep #relaxation - such as on the beautiful, tranquil Tuan Chau Island - or passionate #kayakers who want to explore the numerous islands of the bay on their own.

Ho Chi Minh City - Ho Chi Minh City is always hot and buzzing - and not only because the country's largest city is also the economic centre of Vietnam. Numerous #rooftop bars, including the bar on the fifth floor of the Rex Hotel with a great #view over the city, invite you to party until the early hours of the morning. The best way to escape the hustle and bustle of the big city and the constantly buzzing sounds of scooters and #motorbikes is to take a relaxing walk through Tao Dan Park in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City, where you can also admire many #colourful bird species in an exclusive bird café. If you're not afraid of heights, dare to climb the 68-storey Bitexco Financial Tower and catch a fascinating view of the #vibrant metropolis - preferably at sunrise. Also worth at least one look: the neo-romanic #Notre #Dame Cathedral from the 19th century. The church was built once by and for the French colonialists in what was then Saigon, which is why it bears the name of its Parisian counterpart.
