Vietnamese. Good English skills almost everywhere in the country.


Currency:

Vietnamese dong (VND). Please exchange money only at official exchange offices or banks or withdraw money from cash machines (ATM).


Cambodia

Cambodia is more than just Angkor Wat. It is a country that has learned to laugh and live again after a long time of war. A country that offers 435 kilometres of #coastline and extensive #mangrove forests in a relatively small area. On a journey through Cambodia you can discover a great hospitality, unspoilt areas, the largest freshwater lake in South East Asia, dense #jungle, beautiful #beaches and of course the legendary temples of #AngkorWat. Language:

Khmer. Along the main routes and in the larger. Good knowledge of English in the cities.


Currency:

The Cambodian currency is called Riel and the exchange rate to the Euro is around 4.500 Riel (CHR). There are only banknotes, no coins. However, the US dollar is common and used throughout the country. Sometimes you get your change in a combination of riel and dollar.
